Prepare the steak

Pat steak dry and season generously with salt and pepper on both sides.

Cook the pasta

Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil and cook pasta until al dente according to package directions.

Sear the steak

Heat olive oil in a pan over high heat and sear steak for 2-3 minutes per side until desired doneness.

Rest the steak

Remove steak from pan and let rest for 5 minutes before slicing.

Prepare the sauce

In the same pan, lower heat to medium and sauté minced garlic for 30 seconds until fragrant.

Add drained pasta to the pan with garlic and toss to coat. Slice rested steak thinly and add to pasta.
