Instructions
Marinate the chicken
Combine yogurt, lemon juice, ginger-garlic paste, and all spices to create the marinade, then coat the chicken pieces thoroughly.
Prepare naan dough
Mix flour, yogurt, yeast, salt, sugar, and melted butter to form a soft dough, then knead until smooth.
Rest naan dough
Cover the dough and let it rise until doubled in size.
Cook the chicken
Heat butter in a pan, then cook the marinated chicken until lightly browned on all sides.
Make the butter chicken sauce
In the same pan, sauté onion and garlic, add spices, tomato sauce, and cream to create a rich gravy.
Simmer chicken in sauce
Return the chicken to the pan and simmer gently until fully cooked and the sauce is thick.
Cook basmati rice
Rinse and boil the rice until tender, then drain and keep warm.
Cook naan bread
Divide the risen dough, roll into flatbreads, and cook in a hot pan until golden and puffed.
Serve the feast
Plate the butter chicken with rice, fresh naan, and garnish with coriander.
