Instructions
Form the beef patties
Divide ground beef into 4 equal portions and gently shape into patties about 1.5 cm thick.
Prepare vegetables
Wash lettuce leaves and slice tomato into thin rounds.
Cook the patties
Heat a pan over medium-high heat. Cook patties for 3-4 minutes per side until internal temperature reaches 71°C.
Melt the cheese
Place a slice of cheddar on each patty and cover pan for 1 minute until cheese melts.
Toast the buns
Lightly toast the cut sides of the buns in the same pan for 30 seconds.
Assemble the burgers
Place each patty on the bottom bun, add lettuce and tomato slices, then top with the other half of the bun.
Storage
Best consumed fresh. Patties can be frozen raw for up to 3 months
