Domino's Style Homemade Pizza
Better than takeaway and loads cheaper
A homemade version of Domino's classic pizza with a perfectly risen crust and rich tomato sauce that's incredibly easy to make.

Pizza Dough
extra strong white bread flour
480 g
fine salt

lukewarm water

fast action yeast

olive oil

caster sugar

Pizza Sauce
tomato passata
200 g
black pepper
1 tsp
salt
0.5 tsp
dried Italian herbs
2 tsp
olive oil
2 tbsp
Instructions
Make the dough
Combine all dough ingredients in a stand mixer and knead with a dough hook for 10 minutes.
First rise
Cover the dough with cling film and leave to prove for 90 minutes until doubled in size.
Divide and second rise
Divide the risen dough into four equal balls and leave to rise for another 45 minutes.
Prepare the sauce
Mix the sauce ingredients together in a bowl.
Preheat oven
Preheat the oven to the hottest temperature setting.
Shape and top the pizzas
Flatten each dough ball into a round pizza shape using your hands, then cover with sauce and add your desired toppings.
Bake the pizzas
Bake each pizza on a metal tray in the hot oven for 12 minutes until the crust is golden and toppings are cooked.
Slice and serve
Remove from oven, slice and enjoy your homemade pizza.

Storage
Store baked pizzas wrapped in foil. Dough balls can be frozen before the second rise for up to 1 month.
