Pasta Bolognese

carrot (diced)

celery (diced)

garlic (minced)

tomato sauce
400 ml
milk

red wine

Pasta

parmesan (grated)

Instructions
Prepare vegetables
Dice onion, carrot and celery; mince garlic.
Sauté vegetables
Heat olive oil in a pan and cook the diced vegetables until softened.
Brown the meat
Add ground beef and cook until browned, breaking it up with a spatula.
Add liquids and simmer
Pour in red wine (optional), tomato sauce and milk. Season with salt and pepper, then simmer gently.
Cook pasta
Boil pasta in salted water according to package instructions until al dente.
Combine and serve
Drain pasta, toss with Bolognese sauce and serve topped with grated parmesan.

Sauce can be frozen in portions for up to 2 months. Thaw overnight in fridge before reheating.
