Jurassic Dumplings
Ingredients
Dough
wheat flour all purpose (room temperature)
300 g
water (room temperature)
150 ml
salt
5 g
Filling
ground meat (chilled)
250 g
cabbage (finely chopped)
150 g
onion (finely chopped)
80 g
garlic (minced)
10 g
ginger (grated)
10 g
soy sauce
30 ml
sesame oil
10 ml
Instructions
Prepare the dough
Mix flour and salt in a bowl. Gradually add water and knead until smooth elastic dough forms.
Rest the dough
Cover the dough and let it rest at room temperature.
Prepare the filling
Finely chop cabbage and onion. Mince garlic and grate ginger. Mix all filling ingredients thoroughly in a bowl.
Form the dumplings
Roll out the dough into thin sheets. Cut out circles, place filling in the center and fold into dumpling shapes with dinosaur-inspired patterns.
Cook the dumplings
Bring water to boil in a pot. Add dumplings and cook until they float to the surface, about 5-7 minutes.
Serve
Drain dumplings and serve hot with soy sauce or your favorite dipping sauce.

Storage
Uncooked dumplings can be frozen on a tray then transferred to a bag. Cook directly from frozen, adding 2-3 extra minutes.
