Easy Tiramisu
Creamy, delicious and unbelievably easy tiramisu made with coffee-soaked lady fingers, sweet mascarpone cream and a dusting of cocoa powder.

mascarpone cheese (room temperature)

granulated sugar

Coffee soak
cold espresso
360 ml
coffee flavored liqueur

Instructions
Make mascarpone cream
Beat cream with sugar and vanilla until stiff peaks, then fold in mascarpone.
Soak lady fingers
Quickly dip each lady finger in espresso (optionally with liqueur) on both sides without soaking.
Layer first layer
Arrange soaked lady fingers in an even layer in an 8×8 inch dish and spread half the mascarpone cream on top.
Layer second layer
Add another layer of soaked lady fingers and the remaining mascarpone cream.
Dust and chill
Dust the top generously with cocoa powder using a fine mesh strainer and refrigerate at least 3-4 hours or overnight.

Storage
For best texture, dust with cocoa powder just before serving after thawing if frozen.
Notes
• Tiramisu improves after resting overnight as flavors meld.
• Alcohol can be omitted or replaced with marsala or brandy.
