Copycat Subway chocolate chip cookies
Chewy, golden cookies loaded with melty chocolate chips - just like the ones from Subway but possibly even better.

Instructions
Prepare ingredients and preheat oven
Bring butter to room temperature and preheat oven to 190°C.
Cream butter and sugars
Beat softened butter with granulated and brown sugar until light and fluffy.
Add egg and vanilla
Beat in egg and vanilla extract until fully incorporated.
Mix dry ingredients
In a separate bowl, whisk together flour, baking soda and salt.
Combine wet and dry ingredients
Gradually add dry ingredients to wet mixture and mix until just combined.
Fold in chocolate chips
Gently fold chocolate chips into cookie dough.
Scoop dough onto baking sheet
Scoop rounded tablespoons of dough onto lined baking sheet, spacing 5 cm apart.
Bake cookies
Bake for 10-12 minutes until edges are golden but centers are still soft.
Cool cookies
Let cookies rest on baking sheet for 5 minutes, then transfer to wire rack to cool completely.
