Instructions

Prepare garlic parmesan sauce

Mix mayonnaise, grated parmesan, minced garlic and melted butter in a bowl until smooth.

Caramelise onions

Slice onions thinly and cook slowly in a pan with a little oil until golden and sweet.

Cook bacon

Fry bacon slices in a pan until crispy, then drain on paper towel.

Form and cook burgers

Shape ground beef into 4 patties, season with salt and pepper. Cook in a hot pan or grill until desired doneness, adding cheese slices in the last minute to melt.

Toast buns and assemble

Lightly toast burger buns, spread garlic parmesan sauce on both halves, add lettuce, cooked patty with melted cheese, bacon, caramelised onions and sliced gherkins. Serve immediately with crispy fries.
