Prepare the steak

Season the steak with salt and pepper on both sides.

Cook the pasta

Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil and cook the fettuccine according to package instructions until al dente.

Sear the steak

Heat olive oil in a pan over medium-high heat and sear the steak for 3-4 minutes per side for medium-rare.

Rest the steak

Remove the steak from the pan and let it rest on a plate while preparing the sauce.

Prepare the Alfredo sauce

In the same pan, melt butter and sauté minced garlic until fragrant. Add heavy cream and bring to a simmer.

Finish the sauce

Add grated parmesan cheese to the cream sauce and stir until melted and smooth. Season with salt and pepper.
