Instructions
Preheat oven
Preheat the oven to 180°C and prepare baking pans.
Mix dry ingredients
In a large bowl, whisk together flour, sugar, cocoa powder, baking powder, baking soda, and salt.
Add wet ingredients
Add eggs, milk, oil, and vanilla extract to the dry ingredients and mix until smooth.
Bake the cake
Pour batter into prepared pans and bake for 30-35 minutes until a toothpick comes out clean.
Prepare frosting
Beat butter until creamy, then add cocoa powder, powdered sugar, and milk. Mix until smooth.
Frost and serve
Cool the cake completely, then spread the chocolate frosting over the top and sides. Slice and serve.
