Preheat oven and prepare baking sheet

Preheat oven to 180°C. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.

Mix ingredients

In a bowl, crack the egg. Add psyllium husk powder, salt, and baking powder if using. Whisk until well combined. The mixture will thicken quickly.

Divide the dough into 2 portions. Shape into buns and place on the prepared baking sheet. Sprinkle with seeds if desired.

Bake in the preheated oven for 15 minutes until golden and puffy.
