Caramelize onions

Heat olive oil in a large pan over medium heat. Add sliced onions and cook slowly, stirring occasionally, until deeply golden and caramelized.

Cook chicken

Add minced garlic to the caramelized onions, then push to one side. Add chicken pieces and sear until golden on all sides.

Meanwhile, bring a large pot of salted water to boil and cook pasta according to package directions until al dente.
