Instructions
Preheat oven
Preheat the oven to 190°C and line baking sheets with parchment paper.
Mix dry ingredients
In a bowl, whisk together the flour, baking soda, and salt.
Cream butter and sugars
In a large bowl, beat the butter, granulated sugar, and brown sugar until light and fluffy.
Add eggs and vanilla
Beat in the eggs one at a time, then add the vanilla extract.
Combine wet and dry
Gradually mix the dry ingredients into the wet ingredients until just combined.
Fold in chocolate chips
Gently fold in the chocolate chips until evenly distributed.
Scoop and bake
Scoop rounded tablespoons of dough onto the prepared baking sheets, spacing them 5 cm apart.
Cool cookies
Allow the cookies to cool on the baking sheet for 5 minutes, then transfer to a wire rack to cool completely.
