Instructions
Prepare the Chicken Batter
Coat the cubed chicken with a thick batter made from egg, cornstarch, salt, pepper and water.
Fry the Chicken
Fry the coated chicken pieces in neutral oil until golden brown.
Make the Sauce
Stir-fry garlic and scallion whites, then add the sauces and aromatics to create a glossy orange sauce.
Coat the Chicken
Toss the fried chicken in the thickened sauce until every piece is evenly coated.
Garnish and Serve
Finish the dish with fresh scallions and orange zest for a bright citrus aroma.
