Chocolate Chip Cookies with Peanut Butter Cups

Instructions
Cream butter and sugars
Cream butter with white and brown sugars until light and fluffy.
Add egg and vanilla
Mix in the egg and vanilla extract until well combined.
Add dry ingredients
Stir in flour, baking soda, and salt until a soft, non-sticky dough forms.
Fold in chocolate and peanut butter cups
Gently fold in the chocolate chips and chopped frozen peanut butter cups. Do not overmix.
Chill the dough
Cover and chill the dough in the refrigerator for 20 minutes.
Scoop dough balls
Scoop large balls of dough and place on a baking sheet. Do not flatten.
Bake the cookies
Bake at 190°C for 12 minutes until edges are set and centers remain soft.
Flatten cookies
Immediately after baking, gently press each cookie with the bottom of a cup to flatten slightly.
Cool and serve
Let cookies rest 10-15 minutes before serving.
