Instructions
Mix the dough
Combine flour, yeast and salt in a bowl, then gradually add warm water while stirring until a sticky dough forms.
Knead the dough
Knead the sticky dough in the bowl for several minutes until it becomes smooth and elastic.
First rise
Cover the bowl and let the dough rise in a warm place until doubled in size.
Shape the loaves
Divide the dough into 8 equal pieces and shape each into a rustic round or oval loaf.
Second rise
Place shaped loaves on a baking sheet, cover and let rise again for 30 minutes.
Bake the bread
Preheat oven to 220°C and bake the loaves for 25-30 minutes until golden and crusty.
