Nutella French Toast
Equipment
Ingredients
French Toast
loaf bread (sliced)
8 piece
egg (large)
2 piece
milk (fresh)
120 ml
vanilla extract (liquid)
1 tsp
cinnamon powder (ground)
1 tsp
butter (for cooking)
20 g
Nutella (chocolate-hazelnut spread)
80 g
Cinnamon Sugar Topping
white sugar (granulated)
2 tbsp
cinnamon powder (ground)
1 tsp
Instructions
Prepare the Egg Mixture
In a shallow bowl, whisk together eggs, milk, vanilla extract, and cinnamon powder until well combined.
Prepare the Bread
Spread Nutella evenly on one slice of bread and place another slice on top to make a sandwich. Using a knife, cut the sandwich in half (diagonally or into rectangles). Repeat with the remaining bread.
Dip the Bread
Dip each Nutella-filled bread piece into the egg mixture, coating both sides. Allow it to soak for a few seconds so the bread absorbs the mixture.
Cook the French Toast
Heat a pan over medium heat and melt a little butter. Place the soaked bread pieces in the pan and cook for 2–3 minutes per side until golden brown and slightly crispy.
Add the Cinnamon Sugar
Mix white sugar and cinnamon powder in a small bowl. Sprinkle or lightly coat the warm French toast with the cinnamon sugar.
Serve
Serve warm with extra Nutella drizzle, powdered sugar, or fresh fruits (optional).
