Prepare the steak

Season the steak generously with salt and black pepper on both sides.

Cook the steak

Heat olive oil in a pan over medium-high heat. Cook the steak for 3-4 minutes per side for medium-rare, or until desired doneness.

Cook the pasta

Bring a large pot of salted water to boil. Cook fettuccine according to package directions until al dente.

Make the Alfredo sauce

In the same pan used for steak, melt butter over medium heat. Add minced garlic and sauté for 1 minute until fragrant.

Finish the sauce

Add heavy cream and bring to a gentle simmer. Gradually whisk in grated parmesan until the sauce thickens and becomes smooth.

Combine pasta and sauce

Add the cooked pasta to the sauce and toss to coat evenly. Slice the rested steak and arrange on top of the pasta.
