Instructions
Prepare chicken
Cut chicken breast into slider-sized pieces and season with salt and pepper.
Prepare batter station
Set up three bowls: flour in one, buttermilk mixed with egg in another, and panko breadcrumbs in the third.
Coat chicken pieces
Dip each chicken piece in flour, then buttermilk-egg mixture, then panko breadcrumbs, ensuring full coverage.
Fry chicken
Heat oil to 175°C and fry chicken pieces until golden brown and cooked through, about 4-5 minutes per side.
Make Nashville hot sauce
Melt butter in a small pan, then stir in cayenne pepper, brown sugar, smoked paprika, and garlic powder until well combined.
Toss chicken in sauce
Toss the hot fried chicken pieces in the Nashville hot sauce until evenly coated.
Assemble sliders
Place sauced chicken on slider buns and top with pickle slices if desired.
