Prepare ingredients
Dice the onion, mince the garlic, and shred the lettuce and cheese.
Cook the beef filling
Heat oil in a pan and brown the ground beef with onion and garlic.
Season and simmer
Add taco seasoning and tomato sauce, then simmer until thickened.
Warm the tortillas
Lightly toast the corn tortillas in a dry pan until warm and slightly crisp.
Assemble the tacos
Fill each tortilla with beef, lettuce, tomatoes, cheese, and a dollop of sour cream.
