Nutella Cookie Pie
Gooey Nutella-filled cookie pie
A decadent French dessert featuring a buttery cookie crust encasing a molten Nutella center, baked to golden perfection.

Cookie Dough
softened butter (softened)
220 g
brown sugar
150 g
granulated sugar
60 g

egg yolk
1 piece
vanilla extract

all-purpose flour
310 g
salt
1 pinch
baking powder
1 tsp
milk chocolate chips

Filling
Nutella
260 g
Instructions
Cream the butter and sugars
Mix the softened butter with brown sugar and granulated sugar until creamy
Add eggs and vanilla
Add the egg, egg yolk, and vanilla extract, then beat briefly with an electric mixer
Add dry ingredients
Add flour, salt, and baking powder, then gently mix until just combined without overmixing
Fold in chocolate chips
Fold in 100g of the milk chocolate chips
Chill cookie dough
Refrigerate the cookie dough for 1 hour
Prepare Nutella disc
Spread the 260g of Nutella into a disc and freeze for about 1 hour until firm
Assemble the pie
In an 18cm baking pan, spread some of the cookie dough and create a small well in the center
Add Nutella filling
Place the frozen Nutella disc in the center, then completely cover it with the remaining cookie dough to seal the Nutella inside
Add chocolate chips topping
Sprinkle the remaining 50g of chocolate chips on top
Bake the cookie pie
Bake in a preheated oven at 175°C for 30-35 minutes
Cool completely
Let it cool completely before serving so the cookie pie can set while keeping its gooey Nutella center
