Instructions
Melt chocolate and butter
Melt dark chocolate and unsalted butter together until smooth.
Whisk eggs and sugars
Whisk eggs with granulated sugar and light brown sugar until light and fluffy.
Combine wet ingredients
Add melted chocolate mixture and vanilla essence to the egg mixture and mix well.
Sift dry ingredients
Sift together all-purpose flour, cocoa powder, salt, and baking powder.
Fold dry ingredients into wet
Fold the sifted dry ingredients into the wet mixture until just combined.
Add chocolate chips
Fold in the milk chocolate chips.
Prepare baking dish
Line a baking dish with parchment paper.
Pour batter and bake
Pour the batter into the prepared dish and bake in a preheated oven at 180°C for 25 minutes.
Cool and cut
Allow the brownies to cool for 10 minutes before cutting into squares.
Storage
Store in an airtight container. Freeze individually wrapped for longer storage.
