Prepare the churro dough

Combine water, butter, sugar, and salt in a pot and bring to a boil, then add flour to form a smooth dough.

Add eggs to the dough

Allow the dough to cool slightly, then beat in the eggs one at a time until smooth and glossy.

Prepare the coating mixture

Mix sugar and cinnamon in a shallow bowl for the churro coating.

Heat the oil for frying

Heat the sunflower oil in a large pot or deep pan to 180°C for frying.

Pipe and fry the churros

Pipe the dough into the hot oil in 10-15 cm strips and fry until golden brown on all sides.

Coat the churros

Remove churros from oil, drain briefly, then roll in the cinnamon-sugar mixture while still warm.
