Prepare the dough

Take the pizza dough out of the fridge and let it rest at room temperature for 10 minutes to make it easier to stretch.

Make the tomato sauce

In a bowl, combine crushed San Marzano tomatoes, minced garlic, sugar, salt, and pepper. Mix well and set aside.

Preheat the oven

Preheat your oven to 250°C (480°F) with a pizza stone or baking sheet inside to get a crispy crust.

Shape the pizza dough

On a lightly floured surface, stretch the dough into a 30cm round. Transfer to parchment paper or a floured pizza peel.
