Instructions

Prepare the boil base

Bring the water, lemon, onion, garlic, bay leaves and seasoning to a boil.

Cook the potatoes

Add potatoes first, cook until almost tender.

Test with a fork - they should be almost fork-tender but not fully soft

Prepare the spicy garlic butter

Melt butter with minced garlic, stir in seasoning and extra spices.

Don't let the garlic brown too much - it should be fragrant but not burnt

Cook seafood and corn

Add shrimp, crab and corn, cook just until done.

Shrimp are done when they turn pink and curl - don't overcook or they'll become rubbery

Drain and serve

Remove everything from the pot and drizzle with spicy garlic butter.
