Instructions
Preheat oven and prepare pan
Preheat oven to 180°C. Line a 20x20cm baking pan with parchment paper.
Melt butter and chocolate
Melt butter and chopped dark chocolate together in a heatproof bowl over a pot of simmering water or in microwave in 30-second intervals, stirring until smooth.
Add sugar and eggs
Remove from heat and stir in sugar. Let cool slightly, then beat in eggs one at a time until fully incorporated and glossy.
Add dry ingredients
Sift in flour, cocoa powder, and salt. Fold gently until just combined - do not overmix.
Add Nutella
Swirl half of the Nutella through the batter, leaving visible streaks for marbled effect.
Bake brownies
Pour batter into prepared pan and smooth top. Dollop remaining Nutella on surface and swirl lightly with a knife.
Cool and serve
Cool in pan for 15 minutes, then transfer to wire rack to cool completely. Cut into squares.
Storage
Store in airtight container. Best eaten within 3 days.
