Instructions
Cream the butter
Add cold cubed butter to a large mixing bowl and whisk until slightly creamy.
Add sugars
Add the caster sugar and light brown sugar to the butter, then whisk until well combined and fluffy.
Add eggs and vanilla
Add the egg, egg yolk, and vanilla extract to the mixture. Whisk until fully incorporated.
Add dry ingredients and chocolate
Add the flour, baking powder, baking soda, salt, and Kinder chocolate chunks. Gently mix until just combined - do not overmix.
Portion the dough
Divide the dough into 90-95g balls and place on a tray.
Freeze the dough
Place the cookie dough balls in the freezer for at least 30 minutes, or overnight for best results.
Preheat air fryer
Preheat air fryer to 175°C.
Bake the cookies
Place frozen cookie dough balls in the air fryer and bake for 10-12 minutes until tops are lightly golden while centers remain soft.
Add topping and cool
Remove cookies from air fryer, top with additional Kinder chocolate chunks, and let cool for 30 minutes to set.
Serve
Serve warm with ice cream for the ultimate gooey experience.
