Instructions
Cook the rice
Rinse rice under cold water until water runs clear. Cook in boiling salted water according to package instructions.
Prepare the chicken
Cut chicken breast into bite-sized pieces and season with salt and pepper.
Prepare vegetables
Finely chop onion, mince garlic, and slice chili peppers.
Fry the chicken
Heat oil in a wok or large pan. Add seasoned chicken and fry until golden and cooked through.
Fry aromatics
Add onion, garlic, and chili to the same pan. Stir-fry until fragrant and onion becomes translucent.
Add sauce and finish
Pour soy sauce into the pan, add sugar, and stir everything together. Cook for 2 minutes until sauce thickens slightly.
Combine rice and chicken
Add cooked rice to the pan with chicken and sauce. Stir everything together until well combined and heated through.
Serve hot
