Instructions
Prepare potatoes
Peel the potatoes and cut them into quarters.
Boil potatoes
Boil the potatoes in salted water until fork-tender.
Drain potatoes
Drain the potatoes well.
Mash potatoes
Mash the potatoes using a potato ricer or mixer until smooth.
Mix dough
Add seasonings and cornstarch, mixing until a dough forms.
Form dough in bag
Transfer the potato mixture into a gallon-sized Ziploc bag and roll it out evenly.
Cut sticks
Cut open the bag and slice the potato mixture into about 30 equal sticks.
Freeze sticks
Place the sticks in the freezer for 1 hour to help them hold their shape while frying.
Fry potato sticks
Heat oil to 177°C and fry the potato sticks in small batches until golden and crispy.
Serve
Serve warm and enjoy.
