Ingredients
Ingredients
pasta
300 g
steak (sliced)
400 g
garlic (minced)
4 cloves
parmesan (grated)
80 g
butter
30 g
olive oil
15 ml
heavy cream
200 ml
salt
1 tsp
black pepper
0.5 tsp
fresh parsley (chopped)
2 tbsp
Instructions
Cook the pasta
Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil and cook pasta according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
Sear the steak
Heat olive oil in a large pan over medium-high heat. Add sliced steak and season with salt and pepper. Cook until browned on all sides, about 4-5 minutes. Remove steak from pan and set aside.
Prepare the garlic butter sauce
In the same pan, reduce heat to medium. Add butter and minced garlic. Sauté until fragrant, about 1 minute.
Make the creamy sauce
Pour in the heavy cream and bring to a gentle simmer. Stir in the grated parmesan cheese until melted and smooth.
Combine and finish
Add the cooked pasta and seared steak back to the pan. Toss everything together until well coated in the creamy garlic parmesan sauce. Garnish with chopped parsley and serve immediately.
Storage
Best served fresh. Sauce may thicken in fridge; add a little milk or cream when reheating.
