Instructions
Soften butter
Make sure butter is at room temperature for easier creaming.
Cream butter and sugar
Beat the softened butter with brown sugar and vanilla sugar until light and fluffy.
Add eggs
Beat in the eggs one at a time until fully incorporated.
Add flour
Gradually mix in the flour until a soft dough forms.
Add chocolate chips
Fold in the chocolate chips evenly throughout the dough.
Shape cookies
Scoop tablespoon-sized portions of dough and roll into balls. Place on a baking sheet.
Chill the dough
Refrigerate the shaped cookies for 10-15 minutes to prevent spreading.
Bake cookies
Bake at 180°C for 10-12 minutes until edges are golden brown.
Cool cookies
Let cookies cool on the baking sheet for 5 minutes, then transfer to a wire rack.
