Instructions
Prepare marinade
Mix pickle juice, milk, salt, black pepper, paprika, onion powder, garlic powder, and chili flakes in a bowl.
Marinate chicken
Add chicken pieces to the marinade and let sit for 20 minutes.
Prepare cornflake coating
Crush corn flakes into coarse crumbs. Set up three bowls: flour, beaten eggs, and crushed corn flakes.
Bread the chicken
Dredge each marinated chicken piece in flour, then dip in beaten egg, then coat thoroughly with crushed corn flakes.
Fry the chicken
Heat oil in a pan and fry the breaded chicken pieces until golden brown and cooked through, about 6-8 minutes per side.
Make hot honey sauce
In a small bowl, mix honey, hot sauce, and chili flakes until well combined.
Coat and serve
Drizzle hot honey sauce over the fried chicken or serve on the side. Enjoy immediately.
