Coffee Buns
Fluffy, soft bakery-style buns filled with a cube of cold butter and topped with a sweet coffee-flavored crust.

Instructions
Prepare the dough
Mix warm milk with sugar and yeast, then add remaining dough ingredients to form a soft dough.
First rise
Cover the dough and let it rise until doubled in size.
Prepare filling cubes
Cut cold salted butter into 6g cubes for filling.
Divide and shape dough
Divide the risen dough into 8 equal pieces (about 60g each) and shape into balls.
Fill buns
Flatten each dough ball, place one butter cube in the center, and seal the dough around it.
Second rise
Place filled buns on a baking sheet and let them rise for 10 minutes.
Prepare coffee topping
Dissolve instant coffee in hot water. Cream butter with icing sugar, then mix in egg, dissolved coffee, vanilla, and flour until smooth.
Pipe topping
Transfer coffee topping to a piping bag and pipe a spiral or cross pattern over each risen bun.
Bake the buns
Bake in preheated oven at 180°C for 18-20 minutes until golden brown.

Store in airtight container. Reheat in oven to restore crisp topping.
