Instructions

Prepare cheese cubes

Cut the cheese block into 10 equal cubes approximately 2cm each.

Prepare chicken mixture

Cut chicken into small pieces and mix with egg, cornstarch, olive oil, salt and pepper to create a sticky mixture.

Assemble skewers

Place a small amount of chicken mixture on ham slice, add cheese cube, then wrap with ham. Thread onto skewer.

Freeze skewers

Place assembled skewers in freezer for 20 minutes to firm up before breading.

Prepare breading station

Mix breadcrumbs with smoked paprika. Set up three bowls: flour, beaten eggs, and seasoned breadcrumbs.

Bread the skewers

Coat each skewer in flour, then beaten egg, then seasoned breadcrumbs. Ensure complete coverage.

Fry the skewers

Heat oil in pan and fry skewers for 3-4 minutes per side until golden brown and cooked through.
