Crispy Potato Nuggets

Instructions
Prepare potatoes
Wash the potatoes thoroughly and peel them if desired. Cut into even chunks for uniform cooking.
Boil the potatoes
Place potato chunks in a pot of salted water and bring to a boil. Cook until fork-tender, about 15 minutes.
Mash and season
Drain the potatoes and mash them. Add salt, pepper, paprika, garlic powder, aromatic seasoning, and chili flakes. Mix well.
Add cornstarch and bread crumbs
Sprinkle cornstarch over the potato mixture and mix until combined. Pulse bread slices in a food processor to make crumbs and add to mixture.
Shape the nuggets
Form the potato mixture into small nugget shapes using your hands or a spoon.
Fry the nuggets
Heat vegetable oil in a pan or wok to 180°C. Fry the nuggets in batches until golden and crispy, about 3-4 minutes per batch.

Storage
Best eaten fresh. Freeze uncooked shaped nuggets on a tray, then transfer to a bag. Fry from frozen, adding 1-2 extra minutes.
