Deep Fried Ice Cream

vanilla ice cream (frozen, hardened)

Coating
corn flakes (crushed)
200 g
ground cinnamon (ground)

large egg (beaten)

all-purpose flour (dry)

Frying
sunflower oil (for deep frying)

Instructions
Prepare ice cream balls
Scoop ice cream into 4 equal balls and freeze until very hard
Prepare coating mixture
Crush corn flakes and mix with cinnamon for the crispy coating
Set up breading station
Prepare three bowls: flour, beaten eggs, and corn flake mixture
Coat ice cream balls
Roll frozen ice cream balls in flour, then egg, then corn flake mixture
Refreeze coated ice cream
Return coated ice cream balls to freezer for 30 minutes
Heat frying oil
Heat oil to 190°C in a deep pot or fryer
Deep fry ice cream
Fry coated ice cream balls for 15-20 seconds until golden brown
Serve immediately
Drain briefly and serve hot with desired toppings
