Grind the oats

Place rolled oats in a blender and process until they become fine flour.

Grind in short bursts to avoid overheating the oats

Mix dry ingredients

Combine the ground oat flour with baking powder in a large bowl.

Combine wet ingredients

In a separate bowl, whisk together milk, egg, honey, and olive oil until well combined.

Combine wet and dry mixtures

Pour the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients and stir until just combined. Do not overmix.

Cook the pancakes

Heat a non-stick pan over medium heat. Pour batter to form 10cm pancakes and cook until bubbles appear on surface, then flip.
