Instructions
Brown the butter
Melt butter in pan until it turns golden brown and develops nutty aroma
Mix dry ingredients
Whisk flour, baking soda, and salt together in a bowl
Cream butter and sugars
Mix cooled brown butter with granulated and brown sugars until combined
Add egg and vanilla
Beat in egg and vanilla extract until smooth
Combine wet and dry ingredients
Gradually mix dry ingredients into wet mixture until just combined
Add chocolate chips
Fold chocolate chips into cookie dough
Shape into fries
Roll dough into long, thin rectangular shapes like fries
Bake cookie fries
