Instructions
Boil water
Salt the boiling water in a pot and add the pasta to cook.
Prepare butter
Cut 30g of butter into cubes and place in a bowl.
Grate parmesan
Grate the parmesan into a fine powder so it melts easily.
Reserve pasta water
When the pasta is done, scoop out a cup of pasta water from the pot.
Drain pasta
Drain the cooked pasta.
Make the sauce
Add a ladle of pasta water to the bowl with butter, then add the drained pasta. Stir until the butter melts and creates a creamy sauce. Add parmesan and stir. If it looks too dry or the cheese is not melting well, add another half ladle of water. Stir and toss the pasta until it forms a smooth and thick cream.
Serve
Sprinkle with more parmesan on top before serving.
