Instructions
Mix the dry ingredients
Combine cocoa powder, sugar, and cornstarch in a bowl until evenly blended.
Cook the pudding base
Gradually whisk in the milk, then cook over medium heat, stirring constantly until the mixture thickens and starts to bubble.
Finish the pudding
Remove from the heat, stir in butter and vanilla, then pour into serving bowls.
Garnish and serve
Top with sliced almonds and serve warm or chilled.
Storage
