Creamy Garlic Parmesan Chicken Pasta

Instructions
Cook the pasta
Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil and cook the pasta according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
Sear the chicken
Heat olive oil in a large pan over medium-high heat. Season chicken breast with salt and pepper, then sear until golden and cooked through, about 5-6 minutes per side.
Make the garlic cream sauce
In the same pan, lower the heat and add butter. Sauté minced garlic until fragrant, then pour in the cream. Simmer gently and stir in the grated parmesan until melted and smooth.
Combine and serve
Add the cooked pasta and sliced seared chicken to the sauce. Toss everything together until well coated. Serve immediately with extra parmesan if desired.
