Instructions
Cream butter and sugars
In a large bowl, combine softened butter with granulated and brown sugars. Mix until well combined and creamy.
Add eggs, vanilla, and food coloring
Add eggs and vanilla to the butter mixture. Add green food coloring until you reach a shade slightly darker than desired, as flour will lighten the color.
Add dry ingredients
Mix in baking soda, baking powder, and flour gradually to avoid lumps. Mix until a cohesive dough forms.
Add cookies and chocolate chips
Fold in the chopped Oreo and Chips Ahoy cookies along with the chocolate chips until evenly distributed throughout the dough.
Shape and prepare cookies
Scoop dough onto a greased baking sheet, spacing cookies evenly. This recipe yields approximately 18 cookies.
Bake the cookies
Bake at 175°C for 12 minutes. Do not overbake. Remove from oven and immediately add candy eyes while cookies are still soft.
Cool and serve
Let cookies cool on the baking sheet for 10 minutes before transferring to a wire rack. Serve once cooled to room temperature.
