Instructions
Prepare mixing bowl
Set up a large mixing bowl for preparing each jello layer.
Prepare strawberry layer
Dissolve strawberry gelatin in boiling water, then add cold water.
Pour strawberry layer
Pour the strawberry mixture into a 23 cm springform pan.
Chill strawberry layer
Refrigerate until completely set, about 30 minutes.
Prepare orange layer
Repeat the process with orange gelatin.
Pour orange layer
Carefully pour the orange mixture over the set strawberry layer.
Chill orange layer
Refrigerate until set, about 30 minutes.
Prepare lemon layer
Repeat the process with lemon gelatin.
Pour lemon layer
Carefully pour the lemon mixture over the set orange layer.
Chill lemon layer
Refrigerate until set, about 30 minutes.
Prepare lime layer
Repeat the process with lime gelatin.
Pour lime layer
Carefully pour the lime mixture over the set lemon layer.
Chill lime layer
Refrigerate until set, about 30 minutes.
Prepare blue raspberry layer
Repeat the process with blue raspberry gelatin.
Pour blue raspberry layer
Carefully pour the blue raspberry mixture over the set lime layer.
Chill blue raspberry layer
Refrigerate until set, about 30 minutes.
Prepare grape layer
Repeat the process with grape gelatin.
Pour grape layer
Carefully pour the grape mixture over the set blue layer.
Chill grape layer
Refrigerate until completely set, about 30 minutes.
Prepare whipped cream
Whip heavy cream with powdered sugar and vanilla until stiff peaks form.
Decorate the cake
Pipe whipped cream around the edge of the cake and top with rainbow sprinkles if desired.
Final chill
Refrigerate the finished cake for at least 2 hours before serving.
