No Knead No Mixer Salt Bread
Ingredients
Dough
all-purpose flour
500 g
salt
10 g
active dry yeast
7 g
granulated sugar
25 g
water
350 ml
Instructions
Mix dry ingredients
Combine flour, salt, yeast and sugar in a large bowl.
Add water and form dough
Pour in the water and stir until a shaggy, sticky dough forms.
First rise
Cover the bowl and let the dough rise at room temperature until doubled.
Shape the dough
Turn the dough onto a lightly floured surface and gently shape it into a round or oval loaf.
Second rise
Place the shaped dough on a parchment-lined baking sheet and let it rest for 30 minutes.
Bake the bread
Preheat the oven to 220°C and bake the loaf for 25-30 minutes until golden brown.
Cool the bread
Transfer the bread to a wire rack and cool for 20 minutes before slicing.
