Instructions
Thaw the salmon
Remove the frozen Costco salmon from the freezer and thaw it safely in the refrigerator for several hours or overnight.
Prepare the salmon
Perform the smell test on the thawed salmon. If it smells fresh, proceed with slicing. If not, cook it instead.
Slice the salmon
Cut the thawed salmon into thin sashimi slices using a sharp knife.
Serve as sashimi
Arrange the salmon slices on a plate and serve with soy sauce for dipping.
