Instructions
Preheat oven
Preheat the oven to 180°C and line baking sheets with parchment paper.
Cream butter and sugars
In a large bowl, cream together the softened butter, granulated sugar, and brown sugar until light and fluffy.
Add egg and vanilla
Beat in the egg and vanilla extract until well combined.
Combine dry ingredients
In a separate bowl, whisk together the flour, baking powder, and salt.
Combine wet and dry ingredients
Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet mixture, mixing until just combined. Do not overmix.
Add chocolate chunks
Fold in the chopped Kinder chocolate pieces until evenly distributed throughout the dough.
Shape the cookies
Scoop rounded tablespoons of dough and roll into balls. Place on prepared baking sheets, leaving 5 cm between each cookie.
Bake the cookies
Bake for 10-12 minutes until edges are golden but centers are still soft. They will firm up as they cool.
Cool the cookies
Allow cookies to cool on the baking sheet for 5 minutes, then transfer to a wire rack to cool completely.
