Instructions
Prepare the skinny fries
Peel the potatoes and cut them into thin matchstick strips for skinny fries.
Season the fries
Toss the potato strips with olive oil and salt.
Cook the fries
Fry or bake the skinny fries until golden and crispy.
Make garlic butter
Mix softened butter with minced garlic.
Prepare the garlic bread
Halve the baguette lengthwise and spread garlic butter generously on both halves.
Cook the steak
Season and cook the sliced steak in a hot pan until desired doneness.
Assemble the sandwich
Layer the cooked steak on one half of the garlic bread and top with sliced cheddar cheese.
Melt the cheese
Place the assembled sandwich under a hot grill or in the oven until the cheese is melted and bubbly.
