Instructions
Prepare the special sauce
Mix all sauce ingredients together in a bowl until well combined.
Form and season the patties
Divide the beef mince into two 80 g patties and season both sides with salt and pepper.
Cook the patties
Heat a pan over medium-high heat and cook each patty for 2–3 minutes per side until nicely browned.
Melt the cheese
Place a slice of cheddar on each patty in the last minute of cooking so it melts.
Toast the bun
Lightly toast the burger bun in the same pan or toaster.
Assemble the burger
Spread sauce on both halves of the bun, layer the cheesy patties, diced onions, crispy onions and serve immediately.
