Bakery-Style Chocolate Chip Cookies

Instructions
Brown the butter
Melt the butter in a saucepan and continue cooking until it turns golden brown, being careful not to burn it.
Mix in sugars
Let the browned butter cool, then add the granulated sugar and brown sugar and whisk until smooth.
Add egg and vanilla
Mix in the egg and vanilla sugar until fully combined.
Add dry ingredients
Add the flour, baking soda, and baking powder and mix just until no dry flour remains. Do not overmix.
Fold in chocolate
Fold in the chopped chocolate.
Chill the dough
Chill the dough in the fridge for 15 minutes.
Preheat oven
Preheat the oven to 160°C and line a baking tray with parchment paper.
Shape and place cookies
Scoop the dough into 6 portions and place them well spaced on the prepared baking tray.
Bake the cookies
Bake on the middle rack with bottom heat only for 16 minutes.
Cool the cookies
Let the cookies cool on the baking tray for 10 minutes before serving.
